Leonard, a Senior Partner at Touchstone Capital Group, has built a distinguished career in law and finance over several decades. His expertise spans international business law, investment strategy, project finance, and M&A due diligence, with a deep focus on risk management and corporate governance. Leonard's extensive background in these areas enables him to provide exceptional counsel on complex cross-border transactions and global investment projects.
After earning his Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from the Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages in 1984, Leonard pursued a Master of Law in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations in Beijing, where he gained a broad understanding of international trade, political dynamics, and economic relations—critical tools for advising multinational corporations.

Leonard's legal career began at the Guangdong International Investment and Trust Corporation in Guangzhou, where he served as Assistant Corporate Counsel from 1987 to 1989. His work there involved project finance, where he was responsible for structuring and managing large-scale investment and financing projects, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. This experience provided Leonard with valuable insight into the operational, financial, and legal complexities of major investment initiatives.

Since 2006, Leonard has played a pivotal role as in-house counsel at Giorgio Foods, Inc., where he has overseen a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance, helping the company navigate its growth in a highly competitive sector. In addition, Leonard serves as Of Counsel Attorney at B. Paul Husband, P.C. in Los Angeles, where he advises clients on international securities laws, investment regulations, and cross-border transactions, further expanding his expertise in global legal and financial markets.
