Senior Executive Partner & CEO of Touchstone Oil & Gas Platform
Paweł Gricuk is the Founder of PG Energy Capital Management (“PG Energy”) and a Senior Partner of Touchstone Capital Partners, bringing more than 25 years of experience across investment banking, energy, infrastructure, and industrial assets in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
From 1993 to 2005, Mr. Gricuk was with J.P. Morgan in London, where he structured and executed financing transactions in the global capital markets. Between 2001 and 2005, he led the Representative Office of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in Warsaw. As a member of the JP Morgan Capital team, he was responsible for direct investments across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. During this period, he facilitated over USD 14 billion in financing for European governments and corporates, including the funding and IPO of TVN S.A. and J.P. Morgan’s investment in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie.

Mr. Gricuk began his career in international finance at J.P. Morgan in London, where he spent over a decade advising governments and corporates on capital markets transactions. As a member of the JP Morgan Capital team, he was directly involved in proprietary investments across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Over the course of his investment banking career, he facilitated more than USD 14 billion in financing, including landmark transactions such as the funding and IPO of TVN S.A. and J.P. Morgan’s strategic investment in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie.
Following his tenure in global banking, Mr. Gricuk transitioned into principal investing and operational leadership. He acquired Wheelabrator Inc., a U.S.-based global manufacturer of steel surface treatment equipment, and later served as President of the Management Board of Petrolinvest S.A., where he led one of Poland’s earliest upstream oil and gas exploration programs in Kazakhstan and Russia. These roles strengthened his hands-on expertise in energy asset development, industrial operations, and complex emerging-market environments.
In parallel, Mr. Gricuk has maintained an extensive record of board-level governance and investment oversight. He has served multiple terms on the Supervisory Board of TVN S.A., held board and supervisory positions at Tele-Fonika Kable S.A., Paradyż S.A., and Eques TFI S.A., and chaired the Investment Committee of Fundusz Przedsiębiorstw Polskich Inwestycji Rozwojowych S.A. His responsibilities have included large-scale debt refinancing, capital allocation decisions, risk management, and institutional governance, reinforcing his credibility with both strategic partners and institutional investors.
At Touchstone Capital Partners, Mr. Gricuk will play a central role in building and leading the firm’s Oil & Gas investment platform. In his capacity as Senior Partner, he will be responsible for the origination, evaluation, structuring, and execution of upstream, midstream, and integrated energy investments, with a particular emphasis on resource-backed opportunities in emerging and frontier markets. His mandate includes overseeing asset acquisition strategies, capital structuring, operational governance, and long-term value creation, while ensuring alignment with Touchstone’s broader energy, infrastructure, and capital markets strategy.
Mr. Gricuk will work closely with local operators, national stakeholders, and international financial institutions to develop scalable energy platforms capable of attracting institutional capital and delivering sustainable returns. His role also encompasses portfolio optimization and exit planning, including strategic sales, refinancing, and potential capital markets listings, positioning Touchstone’s Oil & Gas platform as a disciplined, institutionally credible investment vehicle.
